Econo-Sub Electrophoresis Systems

Description -

The Econo-Sub offers quality craftsmanship at a lower price. These horizontal units for submarine gels are available with gel bed sizes of 14cm x 20cm, 20cm x 20cm, 20cm x 30cm, and 20cm x 40cm. The Econo-Sub is not equipped with the tapered baffle system incorporated into our Submarine/Horizontal Gel Units for gel formation. With the Econo-Sub unit, gel casting is done in the gel tray by sealing the ends of the tray with tape.

Each unit comes equipped with:

UV transparent gel tray
Platinum electrodes
Cooling chamber
Safety cover with interlocking power leads
Leveling base with spirit level
Buffer recirculation ports
Safety tip power leads
Shipped with a SeaQualite Agarose Free Sample chose any one of 18 types (SQA-01-SQA-18).

Special Features -

All of the same features and safety features as RFT series except for tapered baffle system.
Choice of four gel bed dimensions: 14cm x 20cm, 20cm x 20cm, 20cm x 30cm, and 20cm x 40cm.
Quality horizontal submarine gel unit at a lower price.
Agarose wick option: Conversion to horizontal agarose wick electrophoresis can be accommodated by ordering either dedicated or removable baffles for agarose wick formation.
