British Mini-Gel System

Description -

The British Mini-Gel System features a simple and safe design, making it one of the most widely used type of mini-gel systems in the United Kingdom. Gel casting is easily accomplished by inserting the precision fit dams and comb into the grooves provided in the body of the unit. The gel bed dimensions are 8cm (l) x 10cm (w). This uniplanar design has a buffer chamber only slightly longer than the gel itself, minimizing the amount of buffer required.

Interlocking anti-condensation safety cover with attached power leads.
Counter balance push buttons allow easy removal of safety cover.
Base of unit is UV transparent acrylic for direct viewing of ethidium-bromide stained gels.
Three precision-machined PVC combs are included with the system. Choice of 1mm or 2mm thicknesses with 4,8, or 16 wells.
Two precision-fit PVC dams snap snugly into grooves for leak-free gel casting.
Convenient built-in storage compartment for combs and dams.
Shipped with a SeaQualite Agarose Free Sample chose any one of 18 types (SQA-01-SQA-18).
