Sooner Scientific's Mini-Blotter is designed for Western, Southern,
or Northern Blots and can hold up to four gel cassettes simultaneously.
Features include an internal glass cooling base for temperature controlled
runs and safety cover with interlocking power leads. Gel cassettes slide
into channels on side of chamber, and a stirring bar can be placed beneath
the cassettes to allow buffer circulation and heat exchange during electrophoresis.
Removable platinum panels are easy to clean, and platinum is protected in
recessed channels. The cassette assembly consists of two hinged, perforated
fiberglass panels and two Scotch Brite pads between which the gel and nitrocellulose
or other derivatized paper are placed. Additional cassettes may be ordered.
