- Incubator Culture Chambers
Description - 
The Sooner Scientific culture chambers are designed to be used
within an incubator or warm room for a variety of tissue culture techniques.
These durable, hermetically sealed chambers are precision-fabricated from
3/8" acrylic and come with either 3 (Cat.# L-312) or 6 (Cat.# L-624)
heavy gauge perforated aluminum shelves. These shelves are black anodized
for corrosion resistance and provide a high contrast background for visualizing
cell suspensions or monolayers. (Custom size shelves for other laboratory
needs are available upon request.)
The three-shelf culture chamber has outside dimensions of 11 3/4"(w)
x 4 5/8"(h) x 9.0"(d) and inside dimensions of 11.0"(w) x
3 7/8"(h) x 8.0"(d). The six-shelf culture cham-ber has outside
dimensions of 11 3/4"(w) x 6 1/4"(h) x 9.0"(d) and inside
dimensions of 11.0"(w) x 5 3/8"(h) x 8.0"(d).
Each chamber also features:
- Stainless steel spring latches
- Reinforced lid
- Durable ethylene-propylene synthetic rubber gasket
- Two gas ports
Special Features -
- Culture chamber is offered in two sizes, with either three or six shelves.
- Designed for versatility, these chambers will hold microtitre plates,
petri dishes, culture flasks, or test tubes.
- Chamber saves on expensive gas mixtures, eliminates need for continuous-flow
CO2 incubators.
- Chamber provides stable culture conditions by minimizing evaporation
of culture media and reducing fluctuations in temperature, pH, and humidity.
- Convenient size and shape of chambers allow four chambers to be agitated
simultaneously on one standard 20" x 20" rocker platform.
- Black anodized perforated aluminum shelves permit uniform humidity
and gas circulation.
- Acrylic Incubator Culture Chamber doubles as radiation shield for beta-radioisotopes.
