STANDARD GELLING AND MELTING & POINT AGAROSES

SeaQualite' Standard Analytical Grade AGAROSES: The agaroses of SeaQualite SQA-01100, SQA-02100, SQA-03025, SQA-04025 and SQA 05100 family differ mainly in electroendosmosis (EEO) values. These values are very important in macromolecular separation, especially proteins. All SeaQualite SQA-01100, SQA-02100, SQA-03025, SQA-04025 and SQA-05100 agaroses can be mixed and matched to meet desired EEO and performance specifications.

SeaQualite SQA-06025 and SQA-07025 AGAROSE

These agaroses have a higher gelification point than SeaQualite SQA-01100, SQA-02100, SQA-03025, SQA-04025 and SQA-05100 types which give higher thermal stabilty to the gels. Another outstanding feature of these agaroses is the highly flexible and elastic nature of the gel set.

SeaQualite SQA-08025 AGAROSE:

This agarose is characterized by very high gel strength, which allows for use at very low concentrations (0.5%), therefore, facilitating the separation of very large DNA fragments such as chromosomes.

SeaQualite SQA-09025 AGAROSE:

This high gel strength agarose is especially designed for a wide range of molecular biology techniques from conventional constant field to Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE).

LOW MELTING AGAROSE

SeaQualite SQA-10025, SQA-11025, SQA-12100, SQA-13025, AND SQA-14025 are low melting agaroses derivatized by organic synthesis that offer the user lower temperatures and important reductions in both gelling and melting points. Essentially, the process generates methoxylates from the basic agarose structure.

SeaQualite Molecular Sieving Agarose

MOLECULAR SIEVING GRADE: SeaQualite SQA-15025, SQA-16025 and SQA-17025

These agaroses achieve exquisite separation by molecular sieving. They are recommended for separating nucleic acids less than 1000bp, including PCR and forensic DNA identity products.

SEAQUALITE AGAR SQA-20000, SQA-21000, SQA-22000 AGAR

SEAQUALITE AGAR SQA-20000 PURIFIED BACTERIOLOGICAL AGAR

This highly purified agar for use in Biochemistry and Microbiology is processed from carefully selected Gelidium seaweeds (Rhodophyceae). Through a purification process the product obtained has an ash content essentially lower than that of bacteriological agar. This process also has decreased the small oligosaccharides fraction and increased the agarose contents. The physicochemical, biochemical and bacteriological properties of this product are strictly controlled to guarantee its exceptional behavior in biochemical, bacteriological and mycological applications.

SEAQUALITE SQA-21000E AND SQA-21000A BACTERIOLOGICAL GRADE AGAR:

Bacteriological agar is a gelling agent used in the preparation of culture media and in other bacteriological applications.
