Affinity Chromatography Products
Affarose gels are a new line of affinity chromatography gel that are positioned to compete directly with Pharmacia, Bio-Rad, Pierce and Sigma products at a lower price. Check the equivalence chart for the Affarose gel equivalent to the affinity support used in your lab.
Affarose G, Glyoxal (Aldehyde) affinity gel supports are available in 4% and 6% agarose beads crosslinked and uncrosslinked. The glyoxal derivative produces a two carbon space between agarose hydroxyl ether and the attached ligand. These preactivated beads are for coupling to Ligand Amino groups.
Affarose AE, Amino Ethyl affinity supports are available in 4%, 6% & 8% agarose beads crosslinked and uncrosslinked. The Affarose Amino Ethyl preactivated agarose beads are for attachment to any ligand Carboxyl group.
Affarose T, Thiol affinity supports are available in 4% agarose beads crosslinked and uncrosslinked.
